Book Launch: Joe England’s The Crucible of Modern Wales
Join us for the launch of Joe England’s Merthyr: The Crucible of Modern Wales, which is published by Parthian in its new Modern Wales series.
Joe will be in conversation with Dai Smith at the Redhouse, Merthyr Tydfil, on Saturday 23 September. He will answer questions from the audience before signing copies of the book.
Free tea and coffee will be available.
The launch begins at 10:30am.
Please note that Joe will also be appearing with Dai Smith and Huw Lewis, who has written To Hear The Skylark’s Song, a memoir of growing up in Aberfan, at the Cardiff Literary Festival on Sunday 24 September at 1pm in the Prince of Wales Suite, Angel Hotel. The trio will also appear at the Crickhowell Literary Festival on Saturday 7 October at 4pm at the Clarence Hall.
