We are pleased to announce our new summer series of online Llafur events on the theme of ‘Health, Healthcare and the NHS in Wales’. All the events will be held via Zoom.  They are free to attend and everyone is welcome!

1. South Asian Doctors: Stories of Resilience and Adaptation in the NHS in Wales – A lecture from Dr. Peter Dickson – Saturday 8^th July (11:00-12:15).
2. A New Era in the Coal Industry?: Occupational Disease, Disability, and Sheltered Employment in South Wales, 1935-1960 – A lecture from Dr. Steve Thompson – Saturday 15^th July (11:00-12:15).
3. Pandemics in modern Wales – Wednesday 26^th July (19:00-20:15). Guest speakers – Anne-Marie Gay, Charles Roberts, James McSharry.
