AJ Cook once remarked that those “who are willing to fight for a cause will always find the way, even when it seems impossible.” Whether you are a student, historian, activist, or simply passionate about Welsh culture, you are warmly invited to join us for this important conversation on Wales’s history and its ongoing journey.

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Llafur event at Tylorstown Welfare Hall on 2nd May, where we are proud to present ‘Resistance and Resilience: Past, Present and Future Struggle in Wales’. Taking place from 10:00 to 15:00, the day will offer engaging discussions exploring Welsh history, activism, and the unwavering spirit of our communities.

In the morning session, our speakers will share their insights and experiences on the themes of resistance and resilience. Attendees will then have the opportunity to take part in a combined Q&A session, encouraging lively debate and thoughtful reflection before we pause for lunch at 12:15.

Across the day, we will celebrate the ongoing pursuit of social justice in Wales, forging vital connections between historic struggles, present-day challenges, and future aspirations.

We look forward to welcoming you to Tylorstown for an inspiring day of connection, learning, and community spirit.
