In June 1948, over 1000 British citizens made the journey from the Caribbean aboard the Empire Windrush seeking to build a new life in post-war Britain. Over the next several decades, thousands more people would arrive from Caribbean countries to build a new life for themselves and their families across Britain and Wales. 75 years on from the first voyage, join us for a conversation on the lives and legacy of the Windrush generation. Chaired by Gaynor Legall and including guest speakers Audrey West, Molara Awen and Natalie Jones.
